Kamenjak, Istria
Cape Kamenjak is located on the Prematura peninsula, southern Istria. There is numerous bays and beaches, many places to swim. Excellent cycling location and there are windsurfing opportunities. It is a wonderful nature park. We collected the best beaches of this area.
Njive beach
Njive beach located on the western side of the peninsula. Entrance to the sea is very shallow, recommended to the family with small children. There is a beach bar offers drinks and snacks. Sunbeds and parasols are able to rent.
Beach: small pebble, rocky
Plovanije beach
Plovanije Beach is very popular because of the soft entrance to the sea. It is ideal for family with kids. The central part of the beach is pebble and the sides of the beach are rocky.
Franina beach
Franina is a small beach located on the southern part of the peninsula. Centrally pebble but rocky as well. There is no shade, so it is the best if you bring parasol with you.It is not a crowded beach if you do not like touristy beach it is perfect for you.
Mala Kolombrica beach
Mala Kolombrica beach is rocky, with cliffs which are suitable for jumping into the water. The Mala Kolombrica cave is also known, able to explore and dive. Just above the cave there is a bar, offers drinks and meals. This beach is very popular and one of the most visited in this area.
